    何謂 RAID 3、RAID 4？

    ???具有容錯的功能外，必須由3台以上的硬碟組成，當磁碟陣列中的一台硬碟故障時，只要更換新的硬碟後，系統就能回寫舊有的資料。

    每台硬碟的容量必須相同，否則以最小的硬碟容量計算，當使用3顆硬碟組成磁碟陣列時，能使用的硬碟容量為2顆，能使用的硬碟容量。計算公式為N-1台(RAID 3的區段以 byes 計算，RAID 4則以 block 為計算單位)由於同位檢查碟的關係這兩種方法是比較少用的。
