何謂 RAID 5？

RAID 5運作原理與RAID 3、RAID 4相當類似必須由3台硬碟組成，並沒有特定的同位碟但是並不會因為少了這個步驟就沒有救回的功能，當RAID控制器上的XOR計算出同位元檢查資料後，會隨著資料分別寫入各顆硬碟上整體的讀寫效能比RAID 3、RAID 4要好，不過仍然比RAID 0要差。
